After establishing your budget at the initial meeting we compare it to the project brief. Sometimes it is apparent that the budget is too small or the brief is too big and discussions ensue to sort out priorities and overall feasibility of the project.  Once a budget is agreed upon we get into the design stage of the project. During this stage the design is assessed and estimated by an independent Quantity Surveyor.  If necessary the brief is trimmed or the design changed to ensure that the client is satisfied with costs.  The project only proceeds to the next stage once the client is happy and signs off both the design and the estimate.
