So what is Tony's industry background and experience?

“I have been involved in the building industry full-time since 1993. Prior to starting Imagine Building Design I worked for an Architect for 7 years whose main client was a multi-national company. Part of my role included the design, documentation and project management of nearly 160 projects for this one client in the seven years I worked there. About 70 of the projects required building audits and reporting back to the clients corporate head office with recommendations to formulate the design and construction brief. The geographical area covered was from Whangarei in the north to as far south as Dunedin & Queenstown. A lot of travelling was involved with these projects so efficiency and good management skills were essential for the success of the projects. During this time I learn't and established and developed a lot of the principles to which I base my designs around. Prior to this role I worked as Quantity Surveyor with a Structural Steel fabrication company.”
