Layering the building up from the ground helps control the scale and proportion of this home. Careful consideration to the elevations was necessary since nearly every side and angle is visible on the journey to the front door. The client’s passion for the site is most evident in the master bedroom where encompassing the river views was a priority.  Window sill levels were careful planned to ensure that a view to the river out to the east was possible whilst lying in bed.
